How noisy is the floor washer?

The floor washer produces up to 78dBA of sound.

Can you adjust the flow of water coming out?

The Floor One will automatically adjust the solution and clean water flow to make sure you have the ideal cleaning experience. You can adjust the water flow to maximum by entering MAX mode when cleaning. This will set the flow to maximum for when you have a tough cleaning situation.

How do you start self-cleaning mode?

To start the Floor One's self-cleaning mode, please follow the following steps: Always keep the floor washer plugged in. Place the floor washer on the storage tray. Empty the Dirty Water Tank. The Clean Water Tank should be at least 1/3 full of water and the the battery is over 10%. Press self-cleaning button at the top of the handle to start the brush roll self-cleaning mode. The floor washer will automatically shut off once finished. The entire self-cleaning process takes about 100seconds.

What is the flow rate?

It ranges from 30 to 100ml/min in relation to how dirty the enviornment is.

How often I need to clean the brushroll?

We advise to clean the brushroll after each use.

What are the max button functions?

The max button enables higher speed and stronger spray to help remove tough spots and stains.

What is the suction power of the floor washer when sucking up water and debris?

Suction power for the floor washer ranges from 15-22AW (Air Watts) depending on how dirty the floor is.

Does the cleaning solution have an odor?

No, the cleaning solution does not have an odor, but it can deodorize the area you are cleaning.

How long can the floor washer run on a full charge?

The Floor One has a Lithium-ion 21.6V 2500mAh battery that allows it to run 17-22 minutes depending on how often the floor washer is running on max power.

Does this unit suck up animal hair?

The unique brush roll can help to remove animal hair and suck it into the Dirty Water Tank.

How much time does the Floor One take to be fully charged?

The Floor One takes around 4 hours to charge to full.

Does animal hair get wrapped around roller?

Normally this does not happen because the brush roller diameter size is big enough so it can avoid getting tangled. If there is a tangle, just remove the brush roller from its holder and use the cleaning tool to remove the hair tangle from the brush roller.

What is the difference between Floor One S5 COMBO and other floor wash cleaners?

S5 COMBO is the smart floor washer which automatically detects how dirty the floor is and applies the appropriate amount of detergent, water, roller pressure and suction power to ensure the perfect hard floor clean every time.

What is the voltage of the charger? Can you use a different charger?

The Tineco Floor One uses 100-240V in its charger. We do not recommend using a different charger as that may not be compatible with the battery.

Do you have to use distilled water?

There is no need to use distilled water. Tap water is perfectly fine to use in the Floor One. Please do not use hot water as this can cause internal damage to the pipes in the Floor One.

Do you have to vacuum an area first before using the Floor One?

There is no need to vacuum an area first because the Floor One can vacuum and wash the floor simultaneously.

What are the Clean Water Tank and Dirty Water Tank capacities?

The Clean Water Tank capacity is 0.5L. The Dirty Water Tank capacity is 0.45L.

Can use bleach in the machine to clean floors?

We would not recommend using bleach in this machine as it could damage the machine.

What kind of floors it can be used on?

The Floor One can be used on non-carpeted floor such as vinyl, tile, and sealed wood floors.

How much solution are you supposed to use for cleaning?

Using the cap of the solution bottle, fill one cap worth of solution and pour into the Clean Water Tank. Fill up the Clean Water Tank with clean water up to the Max line.

How much does the product weigh?

The product weights about 8.2lbs.

Can this be used for dry vacuuming? Can you just vacuum without using water?

The Floor one can‘t be used without water for dry vacuuming. It will cause damage to the brush roller. Ideally you should use the Floor One with solution and water to automatically adjust solution and clean water flow to ensure an ideal cleaning result.

Does the water have to be at a specific temperature for cleaning?

The temperature can be between 41°F ~ 140°F （5°C ~ 60°C). Typically normal tap water is fine to use for cleaning. Please do not use hot water as this can cause internal damage to the pipes in the Floor One.

How long does the battery last for?

The Floor One S5 Combo can work for 22 minutes under Auto mode. The battery time may vary depending on the environment the Floor One S5 is being used on.

Can you use a third party cleaning solution?

It is not recommended to use a third party cleaning solution because the floor washer is designed to be used with the Tineco Cleaning Solution to optimize the amount of bubbles that are produced with cleaning solutions. Third party solutions can cause an over abundance of bubbles when cleaning that could fill up the Dirty Water Tank within minutes of use.

Where should you store the Floor One?

We recommend storing the Floor One on the storage tray that is provided with the Floor One. The storage tray allows the self-cleaning function to work more easily as the tray was designed to fit the head of the Floor One.
